In the mid-1990s the Irish government began a campaign to use Saint Patrick’s Day to showcase Ireland and its culture. The government set up a group called St. Patrick’s Festival.

I drank a Guiness with my breakfast, wore my green, uncovered my celtic tattoo’s to show off, made a pot of corned beef, potatoes and cabbage with some homemade soda bread and finished my day with another Guiness while watching The Boondock Saints…

Sweetest Day got its origins in Cleveland Ohio back in 1922 during the Great Depression. Herbert Birch Kingston, a philanthropist and candy company employee wanted to spread some joy to the lives of orphans, shut-ins and others who were often forgotten.

If you could only see what’s inside my home. I put fresh indoor plant and some paper flowers which I bought on a Chinese store, they really are so refreshing to the eyes. Anyway, every time I visit a friend in the hospital I always make a special arrangement of flowers with fruits bouquet. I am known of bringing something like that.I am happy when I see a friend enjoying what I just had give her.

My mom taught me about giving gratitude to a hostess, if you cannot afford anything give her a hug before going out from the party and compliment one menu she was cooking. Since I love cooking every time me and my husband is invited to a small gathering,I always bring with me my Fettuccine recipe.
